Across Tanzania's sweeping savannahs, brave rangers rise each day to defend endangered wildlife from the threat of poaching. But they can't stand on the front lines alone.
Operation Serengeti Shield exists to strengthen Tanzania’s frontline defense against wildlife crime. In summer 2026, our team will travel through Tanzania accompanied by international advisory council member Shubert Mwarabu to personally deliver equipment and training to two key national agencies that safeguard Tanzania’s wildlife and wild spaces.
The agencies have requested the equipment below to support patrol operations, ranger safety, and wildlife crime evidence collection. When you purchase a piece of gear, you are placing it directly into the hands of a ranger serving on the ground in Tanzania.
